What Requirements & Conditions Might Apply #

  • Legal business registration - You’ll need to have a legal, registered business in Brazil (CNPJ). Shein wants to work with local manufacturers and vendors.
  • Product & manufacturing capability - If you manufacture locally, you should have the capacity, quality control, and ability to handle small batches (“fast fashion” style), as Shein works with quick lifecycle/on-demand product models.
  • Compliance with Shein standards - Product quality, safety, labeling, packaging, etc. Shein will likely have its vendor/supplier standards, especially for marketplace goods.
  • Tax, customs, import rules (if applicable) - If part of your products or materials are imported, you need to comply with Brazilian import laws and taxes. But Shein is pushing for more local manufacture, so less dependence on imports is better.

Step 1. Prepare Your Business #

  • Register your company (CNPJ) if not already.
  • Make sure you can source or produce the products you want to sell (or have a supplier).
  • Make sure you comply with all product regulations in Brazil (labels, safety, consumer protection, etc.).

Step 2. Check Shein’s Marketplace Announcement & Seller Portal #

  • Monitor Shein’s announcements for updates on the Brazilian marketplace. There was a pilot, followed by a full launch of a local marketplace for third-party sellers.
  • Find the official “Sell on Shein / Become a seller / Vendor application” page for Brazil. Visit Shein’s Brazilian site.

Step 3. Submit an Application  #

  • Pre-registration: submit your personal and business information to create your account.
  • Provide business documentation: legal entity, tax registration (CNPJ), and bank details.
  • Provide product info: what you sell, categories, volumes, photos, quality certifications if needed.
  • Account activation: you’ll receive a login and password via SMS to activate your account.

Step 4. Meet Shein’s Assessment #

  • Shein likely reviews whether your products fit their marketplace (style, quality, pricing).
  • You might need to agree to Shein’s vendor terms and policies.

Step 5. List Your Products #

  • Once approved, you will be given access to a seller dashboard or vendor panel.
  • Upload product listings (images, descriptions, SKUs, prices).
  • Decide who handles warehousing/shipping, etc. If Shein has a fulfillment option locally, check if you can use it.

Step 6. Set Logistics & Fulfillment #

  • Ensure you can ship orders reliably to customers in Brazil within the promised timeframes.
  • Handle returns and customer service as per Shein policies.

Step 7. Understand Shein Payment Flow #

  • After the order is approved, the logistics team confirms customer delivery.
  • After 7 days*, Shein confirms the order delivery to the seller.
  • Every Monday, the bank is notified by Shein to process the payment.
  • Payments are made to the seller’s account within 1 to 3 business days.
