If you're using Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) to handle orders from platforms like Magento, eBay, TikTok Shop, Temu, and more, it’s essential to understand how the pricing works. MCF offers reliable storage, packing, and delivery. But those conveniences come at a cost that varies based on product size, weight, and shipping speed.
ℹ️ This guide reflects Amazon MCF pricing as of June 10, 2025. Fees and policies can change, so be sure to check Amazon’s official site for the most current information.
What’s included in Amazon MCF fees #
Amazon MCF charges cover the full order fulfillment process:
- Warehousing your products in Amazon’s facilities
- Picking and packing each unit
- Shipping to the end customer
ℹ️ If you’re using the M2E Amazon MCF integration to fulfill orders from Adobe Commerce (Magento), eBay, TikTok Shop or other platforms, rest assured: we don’t add any extra fees to your fulfillment costs.
All charges come directly from Amazon’s standard MCF pricing. You’ll only pay what Amazon requires.
Fulfillment fees: main cost breakdown #
Fulfillment fees are the core cost you'll see when using Amazon MCF. These depend on:
- Size category (standard, bulky, extra-large, etc.)
- Package weight
- Shipping speed
- Standard (3-5 days)
- Expedited (2 days)
For orders containing more than one item, Amazon often offers lower per-unit rates for multi-item shipments.
⚠️ Shipping products with lithium batteries? There’s an extra handling fee of $0.11 per unit.
Amazon provides detailed rate charts for various item sizes:

ℹ️ Need faster delivery? Expedited shipping is available at higher rates. Always refer to the Amazon MCF Pricing documentation for the latest fee tables.
Monthly storage fees #
Amazon also charges monthly storage fees to keep your products in their fulfillment centers. These rates vary depending on:
- Size and type of product
- Space used (measured in cubic feet)
- Time of year (rates increase during Q4: October to January)
- Overall warehouse demand
⚠️ Inventory that stays too long may incur additional long-term storage charges.

Other potential fees #
Beyond basic storage and fulfillment, some extra charges may apply:
- Remote area delivery: Orders shipped to locations like Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico may cost significantly more due to carrier surcharges.
- Carrier blocking: If you choose to exclude Amazon Logistics from handling deliveries, Amazon adds a 5% fee to those orders.
- Inventory inbound/removal: Sending items to or removing them from Amazon warehouses uses the same fee structure as Amazon FBA.
- Holiday peak fees: Expect temporary fee increases during the holiday rush (Q4) to offset higher operating costs.

FAQs #
Q1: Does Magento charge extra for Amazon MCF? #
No. Magento doesn’t add any fees when you fulfill orders using Amazon MCF. All fulfillment costs are charged by Amazon directly.
Q2: Are Amazon MCF and FBA fees the same? #
Not exactly. Both share the same storage rates and use the same fulfillment infrastructure, but MCF fulfillment fees are usually higher. That’s because MCF supports non-Amazon channels.
However, MCF doesn’t charge referral fees, unlike FBA, so you’re only billed for storage and shipping.
