How to bring in Amazon product costs from Magento (Adobe Commerce) #
M2E Analytics enables you to import product cost information, thereby computing essential business metrics. This guarantees a precise understanding of your financial results.
Here’s how to transfer product costs from Magento to M2E Sales Analytics.
Step #1. Exporting product costs #
Any method you prefer is acceptable, including the standard Adobe Commerce export tool.
- Navigate to System → Export.
- Choose Products for Entity Type.
- Select the Cost and SKU attributes.
- Click Continue and download the CSV file.
Step #2. Setting up the CSV file #
Keep only two columns: sku and cost. Make sure each has the correct values.
Step #3. Importing the costs into M2E Analytics #
- Access M2E Analytics.
- Navigate to the page called Profit Analytics.
- Select Import Cost and upload your CSV doc.
Once the import finishes, M2E Analytics presents the latest product metrics and performance summaries. You can download them as a CSV for analysis or reports.
