October brought several updates to M2E Pro and M2E Connect aimed at keeping your multichannel listings accurate, compliant, and ready for the busy sales season.
What’s new in M2E Pro? #
Updated eBay category data #
eBay has recently updated its category structure, and M2E Pro now reflects these changes. If you notice missing or unavailable category data in your listings, refresh your marketplace data in the extension to re-align your catalog:
- Go to eBay > Configuration > Marketplaces.
- Click Update All Now.
With this quick step, you’ll ensure that your products are correctly associated with the latest eBay catalog data.
What’s new in M2E Connect? #
Import of CPF to TikTok Shop Brazilian orders #
For sellers receiving orders from Brazil, M2E now imports the CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) number to TikTok Shop orders. This personal tax ID is required for all online purchases in Brazil and is often needed for invoicing and tax reporting.
The imported CPF will appear in two places:
- The Shipping & Handling Information section of the TikTok Shop order.
- The Address Information section of the corresponding Magento order.
Set Manufacturer details when listing on Temu #
M2E Connect now offers more flexibility in how you provide GPSR-related product information. When listing new Temu products, you can specify the Manufacturer and Responsible Person via Category attributes.
You can set these details using Temu’s recommended values, your Magento attributes, or enter a custom value.
View reasons for Incomplete Temu listings #
It’s now easier to understand why a Temu item can’t be listed. If a product status changes to Incomplete, you’ll see a hint explaining the reason right in M2E. Simply click the Warning icon next to the item in the Items > Listings tab to view detailed information on the issues.
This small but useful improvement helps you pinpoint listing problems immediately, so you can get your products live on Temu faster.
